July 23rd Youth day, the community is invited and will take part in seminars and some shooting contests. Basic firearm instruction will be provided among other events planned, archery demonstrations, black powder, cookout etc. Wildlife officer Jeff Tipton may be present to talk to everyone about hunting and resources. Champaign County Sheriffs Department may be on hand with a demonstration on use of duty dogs. More details as it gets closer.
May 28th, 2011 Bowling Pin Shoot, Kiser Lake Sportsman's Club and The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 46
July 9th, 2011 -Open house day in conjuction with the ODNR. Events will be scheduled including a pistol shoot, rim fire rifle and Turkey shoots, lunch and free raffles for shirts . 4H will give demonstration of shooting. This will be a free event for the community and is sponsored in part by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. There will be free range time available so the community can test, fire or sight in their weapon.
Rim-fire rifle shoot, this will be a 25 yard iron sight/red dot (unmagnified), 50 yard scoped shoot.
