Current news(July 30th, 2011) Kiser Lake Sportsmans Club donates 6 Long Bows and arrows to Naturalist center at Kiser Lake State Park for their Archery Program. (July 23rd, 2011) Our firstYouth day. (July 9th, 2011) Open house day (February 2011) Kiser Lake Sportsman's Club donates $750 to 4H Shooting Sports Organization. (November 2010) Kiser Lake Sportsman's Club receives $2550 grants from the ODNR for assorted programs (October 2010) Range was modified again raising the height. Thanks to the Johnson Township for the donation of dirt (October 2010) The club donated a full years membership to the "Get behind the badge" organization for the Dan Buchanan and Chris Ford fundraiser. (September 2010) Girl Scouts use the facilities for their Bonfire night (August 2010) Hunter Education classes scheduled see events page (June 2010) We will be sponsoring free Hunter Education courses in the fall. Watch for dates. (May 2010) Kiser Lake Sportsman's Club donates $250 to Farmers and Hunters Helping feed the Hungry (FHFH). The program provides money for the butchering of Deer that are donated by hunters and farmers. http://www.fhfh.org/ We received a grant from the ODNR and matched it for the donation. (May 2010) We donated the booth fee for the ODNR to set up at the Champaign County Fair. (May 2010) The club voted to give all active military members a free year of membership that is interested in belonging to the club. Just a small way we would like to show our appreciation for the great job our service people do!
( April 2010) We would like to thank Dave Current Excavating for the donation of gravel and spreading it in our parking lot! (March 2010) Lifetime award and memberships were given to Dave Buck, Bill Coe and RD Howell for their contributions and longtime dedication to the club. (February 2010) The KLSC donates a computer to the 4H club for shooting sports.
